Hey there, StarTrack Merchants!

We’ve got some updates regarding StarTrack shipments that will affect how you manage deliveries through Koi. From 1 March 2025, there will be changes to StarTrack’s shipping process that will require you to provide specific details for every shipment—specifically, dimensions like length, width, and height.

What’s Changing?

Starting 1 March 2025, if you’re using our Shipping & Tracking APIs to lodge StarTrack shipments (which you are if you use Koi and other shipping app providers), you’ll need to include dimensions for every package. This means:

  • Mandatory Dimensions: When lodging StarTrack shipments, you’ll need to provide the length, width, and height of each package.
  • No More Cubic Volume: StarTrack is simplifying things—no need to calculate cubic volume, just enter the basic dimensions.

Without these details, you won’t be able to lodge shipments via StarTrack from March onwards, so it’s important to be ready!

  2. Use Koi to Capture Dimensions: If you’re not already doing so, start capturing the dimensions of your products when they’re packed. Koi can help you do this. With Koi you can ensure that all the right information is included before a lodgement.

Timeline to Update

We recommend getting on to Koi ASAP to avoid disruptions. If your orders are already including these dimensions when lodging with StarTrack, you’re all set—no further changes needed.
